Just a little bragging...
BODIE DID IT!!
Bodie is the new US Bird Dog Association Western States National Flushing Champion !!
After a 4 day tournament in Carson City, NV. Bodie came out on top of 5 very challenging and capable dogs who made the finals. The top 3 finishers were within 1 minute of each other and all 5 were within 3 minutes.

An amazing dog. Bodie was diagnosed with hip dysplasia 5 years ago and has had stem cell treatment to postpone arthritis. To win at this level is a testament to his determination and drive.

Good Dog.:hello2: Mine can't do anything, but be dogs.

That is something to be very proud of.
Beautiful, beautiful dog.

Thanks everyone.

Bodie is the little guy in my avatar. He's 64# of solid muscle and can smell a bird at ridiculous distances. In the final 5 he beat the Washington State flushing champ, the NAGDA multiple national champ and the USBDA flusher of the year.

That's great! It must take a special dog to win such a prestigious award, with a beautiful trophy too! My dog is trying to become our nations #1 squirrel flusher. Problem is.. she wont climb trees or power poles. Maybe someday.

Congratulations! :notworthy: It takes a lot of hours working and training.
