Used Tesoro Silver Sabre uMax for $45...good deal?

Hit an indoor/year round flea market that just opened recently and asked about MDing items. Guy pulls out a Tesoro SS uMax marked $55 and says he can do better. He claims he tried it out and it works(I will verify myself if I go back) and I ask what the best he can do is, he comes back with $45. So, for those of you in the "know", is this a good deal, great deal or run from deal?

I have one and like it because its light and goes deep. An excellent relic detector. Good price.

I like that model so well I have 3 of them. At 45$, even if you had to send it in to be checked/repaired you're still ahead.
