USGS Geological or Mineral Survey Maps

I am trying to find any available maps for geological or mineral surveys conducted for a specific area.. However, whenever I select "California" on the USGS website I come up with zero results for either geological or mineral maps. Is anyone here familiar enough with the site or another service and willing to lend a hand?

I was trying to use this. https://www.usgs.gov/products/maps/geologic-maps

Cool. I'm learning too.

I think the thing to do is start with the map that represents the type of data your after, then drill down to the more specific things like area.
