Using salt water on dry land.

Was on u tube yesterday and was watching a guy in England I think. He uses a silver program which is sorta close to Gone Hunting for History. Long story short he has the salt water checked for dry land. Anyone tried this. I used it yesterday nothing great but it was little weird the way it acted.

Yes, I have. Using saltwater will quiet the machine down when it is unstable but I have also used it under normal circumstances. One of the experts who I occasionally detect with uses that setting often and suggested it me. From what I read but I cannot confirm is that there are certain frequencies that are sensitive to salt are turned off.
 

Think of it as another filter to experiment with when your machine is having trouble with the ground.
