I recently acquired some of my grandfathers collections. Haviland china complete set, silver cutlery, stainless Towle knife sets, etc....
One of the more interesting finds is a silver serving dish with a USN 1365 stamp on the bottom. I assumed this meant US Navy, googled the id, and came up with a ship built in the 1800's. I am attaching some pics but any help on this would be appreciated!
