Canadien: Please divert your course 15 degrees to the south to avoid collision

American: Recommend you divert your course 15 degrees north to avoid collision

Canadien: Negative, you will have to divert 15 degrees south

American: This is the Captain of a U.S. Naval vessel. I say again divert your course.

Canadien: No, I say again divert your course

American: This is the aircraft carrier USS Lincoln, the second largest ship in the US Atlantic fleet. We are accompanied by three destroyers, three cruisers, and numerous support vessels. I demand that you change your course 15 degrees north, I say again, that's 0ne five degrees north, or measures will be undertaken to ensure the safety of this ship.

silence

Canadien: This is a lighthouse. your call.

lol i love that story ;D 'specially since i was on 72 for a short time back in 05...

it's scary to think we have a captain that stupid or a commander that can't decide where their boat is
