Left out to Utah Monday to beat the snow storm here and hooked up with my son who came down out of Laramie WY. Stayed 5 nights at Horsethief Campground north of Moab. Man, we had every weather you could imagine. First day, very thick smoke and poor visibility, almost a 100 degrees. That night a cold front came through and dropped the temp 60 degrees. Then it rained. Doesn't matter much in the desert but it was that slow all day drizzle and we actually got about 2 tenths. Tried to take him over the La Sal loop road and it started snowing like everything up there. Still overrun with tourists down there. We had a great time.
