Beach & Shallow Water Hunting
I hunted with a friend using the V3 a few times.
The spots he couldn't detect because of noise on his end, yeilded a non competitive hunt in certain areas.
I picked colonial buttons under power lines and high mineralized dirt where he "swirved" from.
The Etrac is a supurb machine that I am very happy with.
I now have well over 3,000 hours on this machine and I wouldn't trade it for any thing.
Whisper quiet on salt water beaches too.

My friend now competes with me on those sites due to his trade in on a new Etrac. :D

Depends a lot on what settings you have in it too. "Multi tones" with high gain and sensitivity maxed will drive you insane! lol. Some Brit's i know prefer this setting as it's apparently easier to pick out the hammered silvers and pieces.
Etrac just "nulls" on iron so no clicking there.Use it on "4 tones" and things should be fine.
