As requested, I am posting individual pics of the framed points from my earlier post. Background - these were given to me decades ago in the frame by a family friend/collector. The frame is labeled "Valley of Mexico CA. (circa?) 1200-1500 A.D.". Based on a quick search it seems this location is near Mexico City.

What can y'all tell me about any of these? Maybe the state of knowledge on the point type and location/dating has changed in the 40+ years since the label was put on the frame. Maybe they are similar to points in your area or mine (Houston area, Texas). Open to any and all comments. Let me know if you'd like a better pic of any of them. Hoping to learn more about these and from these. Many thanks!

I spend a lot of time in Mexico, and have handled and found lots of points in the area. Most of them are obsidian, or one of a couple of varieties of chert. Many of the points from that time frame are simply trimmed core bladelets, so they have very flat spots on them. If I saw them in a local collection in Mexico, I'd doubt they were from the Valley of Mexico. The quality of workmanship and materials tells me that they come from some more central and northern Mexico. Just a guess, maybe they are from a site that had significant trade from another area.

Nice pieces.

Thanks Joshuaream, your insights are very helpful! What do you think about the time frame (1200-1500 AD), and are they all likely from the same time range? I'll also do some digging and see what I can learn about them. Thanks again :)
