Value of The Frontiersman by Relco Houston Tx

I have a Frontiersman Metal detector. I dont know if it works but assume it needs a new battery. Where is battery located and what kind do i need. I am wondering how much this metal detector would be worth if it did work. It looks to be in good condition has on missing button which switches from metal to mineral. Has 2 coils? I live in mountains of pa where everything is old fashioned. I am wondering if i could find good treasure with this or buried money. Thanks for any info Lesnbek

That's a dinasour with little to no value. Even if you got a collector of vintage machines (not many vintage collectors out there), it still wouldn't fetch much (as there are no shortage of those funky '60s to '70s machines out there).

As far as ability, you're talking poor depth, poor ability in mineral, no disc, etc.. etc.... I'm gonna guess 4" tops depth on a coin-sized item? You would be left way in the dust by even the cheapest toy of today.
