vaquero or outlaw for drysand hunting at the beach

just curious which one would be best for dry/wet sand i know i want a Manuel ground balance for wet/dry sand i like that the outlaw comes with 3 coils any reviews yet on the outlaw

I haven't heard of any field tests on the Outlaw yet. Neither the Vaquero or Outlaw would be good for the wet sand, manual GB or not. Wet saltwater sand causes detectors to be unstable and add to this the various amounts of black sand and VLF detectors go crazy. Any detector will work well for the dry sand and you don't need a pinpoint if you have a good scoop.

if you dont have a tesoro, i would say the outlaw, just so you get the other coil options with the package
