California Originals was founded c.1944 in Manhattan Beach, CA and their pieces are quite collectable, especially the earlier ones. That might fetch around $50 from someone who wants it.
The dog is just more sentimental junkware. Too many examples out there to track it down.

Victorian in style maybe, but not from that era. Vintage at best, made in China and not worth anything like $50 in my opinion.
There are more pottery owls out there than you can shake a stick at, but I don’t think either of those are particularly special.
