I found this broken point in my backyard a few days ago and am clueless as to what type it may have been and of what the material is. The flaking marks are plain as day but it seems to be missing a large portion of the base. Any thoughts?

Very nice flaking I think that would have been a cool point if it was all there. Its still worth picking up no matter what. I have several broken points thats nice, and I display them also.
