🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Very Early Buckle?

Greetings all,

I found this at an old home site that was built sometime in the early 1800s. I can't find another example similar to it online, so I was hoping one of you all may be able to help. Can anyone identify this buckle and put a date range to it? Any help would be appreciated!
