Good going! It'll grow on you.
I'm in W Michigan. Went out 2x this year. Very Cold!
Best finds so far this year: 1951 quarter, sterling silver ring.

Great start! You're in silver territory with those dates.

Not a bad start for sure. Hope you have many years of successful hunting in your future. You will be amazed at how quickly the finds add up. Good luck and Happy Hunting !!

Not bad it gets better keep at it...

Thanks everyone, definitely hooked. Up to about 30 pull tabs with that hunt lol but it's all worth it at the end for that one good find.

just wait to see how hooked you get when you pull some silvers! Like Charlie said, you're right in the spot for some silver coinage. Dig highs and deep signals. Dig scattered signals, and ones that bounce around but land on the same high number. Concentrate on what tabs and aluminum sound like, and memorize what sounds are associated with what you dig up.

Keep at it!

good first dig where at in michigan im near traverse and welcome to the addiction

congrats! fun finding any keepers!

Very nice hunt! Keep working the AT Pro it will deliver the goods!

not too shabby. I think my first hunt was just a bunch of nails. welcome to the forum!

HA HA i passed the addiction on to my daughter (coil2soil). Now we get more father/daughter time. Welcome to the fever.

Thank you for the advice. Kept getting a solid 53 yet digging up bent over pull tabs. Also found some chain link fence pieces that were in the 70's. Definitely getting used to the different sounds and tones.
