The rotor from a generator at Calloway Nuclear Plant was sent out for refurbishment. The total weight of the vehicle was in excess of 700,000 pounds. One truck pulling and one truck pushing. 108 tires on the ground. When it came to turn North on Hwy 19 in Montgomery County, they showed to ability to steer by turning every axle of the trailer to make the corner.

They probably need one of these cranes to load/unload this type of weight.
Fun to watch putting a crane together.

But that would of saved $$$-and time. No fun in that.

Knew a fellow that refurbished pumps at one of the facilities in Ontario (GTA)-union guy.

Well it all depends on how I'm being treated, I have the nut in the parts locker-but if I feel that I'm being pushed I'll order that nut in.
Result is I can't work on another pice of equipment (pump) till I get that nut in. Ordering it will take a week or a bit more-and until then I just read at my station.
What a F'd mentality/view to have, when it's our money basically.
