Very nice Father's day hunt old copper and silver!

So, my awesome wife took the kids out this past Saturday to allow for me to go out detecting. (since Sunday it was forecast to rain) I re-visited a site that has produced well in the past and it did not disappoint. I deliberately went to areas I had spot checked in the past and brushed off as just trashy or not worth going over. While I did dig a bit more trash, I was pleasantly surprised. The two large cents were very close to 12" down and were note the best signals. I was using my 10X12 SEF coil. I am thinking I may revisit this part of the site with a larger coil since it seems that the older stuff had worked its way down deep. The seated dime blew me away b/c it was maybe 3 inches down under a pine tree I had written off as I had previously only found modern trash associated with drinking etc. The modern silver were all fairly close to one another with some wheaties, I believe the quarter and dime were recovered in plugs right next to each other. Maybe a spill... Enjoy the pics.

WOW! You made some really very cool finds. The coins are great of course, but I also really liked the decorated flat button.. I love getting a distinct design like that. It looks like you cleaned the toe tap pretty good, I have found four so far and three of them have dates on them! Check yours really well. Love finding the fiddleware too - potential old site.
