Very nice nickel box score!

Got my weekly box of nickels from one of my supply banks. Wow! Great box, got five war nickels including my second 1943/2 P! Also scored another 1942 D nickel in nice circulated shape. It felt good to get some silver (got skunked on halves and dimes last week), and five war nics in a box is a record for me. Been averaging one to two max per box.

Nickels have been very good here lately. Makes up for the ups and downs of halves.

That is very very good for a box of nickels. I have always thought that non-collectors would unload a war nickel as fast as possible, just because they look so crappy. In my mind I would expect it to be the easiest silver coin to find, but not so. good job!

Here is my attempt at a scan of the 1943/2. I have two, and they both look just like the Cherrypicker's Guide pics with my loupe. A little tougher to pick out with the scan, but I think you can see the diagonal line from the two coming up and back to the right pretty well.

Nickels have sure been good to me lately...
