Re: what type of point?

In Ohio it would be called a birdpoint. Cool little find.

When I see those tiny points I always think ... blowgun. They just seem too small to be of use in any kind of bow. Perhaps this is the Native American version of 'baby's first' as in baby's first bow and arrow. I suppose that would make a certain amount of sense as you would want to start teaching the next generation how use the tools of hunting asap so that they would both be more highly skilled in the long run and would be of use to the tribe as hunters sooner.

Here you go Larson ,..

My Little champ of lithic little , .. all but 5/16 in. long ,.. the 1890 dime is the same size as todays dimes .

Anyway ,..Nice piont there Larson , .. I'm also looking forward to what ever else you may "find" in your collection this winter .
As I remember ,.. you had been asking about cases and frams and such a while back , .{BTW .. teal, is a nice color to show artifact's on , I think ;D} ..Sooo , are we going to see a few fine frams ,.by spring ??
Do tell ,....Blindpig

Great little points guys.

Those are awesome Atlantis.

Here is some of my small ones. I have one that is smaller but I engraved a spot in the handle of my long bow years ago and epoxied it in. I don't bow hunt anymore and my bow is in my other house about 3 hours south. I'll try and take a pic when I go down for Christmas.
