Very unique and interesting Elgin watch! Need help with company?

Clearly the watch needs some cleaning up and an overall service. However, it is one of the more unique watches I have found recently. The body of the watch is basically suspended in the bezel with the lugs. It is an odd design with an awesome engraving on the back. It would seem that J.A. Goerg worked in New York in 1931. I get confused when looking up O.L. Schwencke Co. because I find two results from New York. A land and investment company but also a Lithograph company for cigar boxes..... Can anyone help be out figuring out which one it might be?

What a lovely watch. I bet Mr Goerg was pleased as punch when he was given that. I think it has to have been a recognition from the land investment company.

O.L. Schwencke the cigar box label printer was established in 1870 and traded as O.L. Schwencke & Co. from 1884 until 1900, when it was absorbed by Moehle Lithographic Co. There don’t seem to be any catalogues bearing Schwencke’s name after 1905.

O. L. Schwencke Land and Investment Company was registered in 1897 and traded under that name until 1988, when the company was dissolved.
