Very unusual 14k white gold piece, any help with this obscure hallmark would be great

I have never seen anything like this piece, at least not in gold either yellow or white. It measures about 2" x 1" and weighs almost 17 grams. I am at a complete loss re: the maker's mark, it looks like a stylized crown to me but I have already put in hours towards pinning this down and gotten nowhere. If anyone has any ideas I would be so happy lol.

I think that crown is a guaranteed 58.3% (14K) British mark for gold? Nice score.
