Hey Jason. Nice hunts. Was watching your video and I think your saddle ring is a stanhope viewer ring. It appears to have a "lens" in the one side. If you clean out the void under the front of the saddle and look through the lens with light behind the void, you might see a picture inside. Could be too degraded to see but just might be an interesting little picture if it's still there, possibly an old "nudie" inside. Check it out and let us know.
