After Dad did the detail GPS map of this field we both decided that there was 1 corner that needed further searching.

I did 4 hours 15 minutes & Dad did about 2 & a bit.

We were right & managed another 7 Roman Coins plus:

A Roman Fibula Top
Roman or Medieval Lead Pot Mend with finger/thumb print!
Medieval Belt Mount
3 Jettons
Roman Pendant?
Bits...

This site is done for this year.

Dang, another successful hunt CRUSADER. Thanks for sharing...

Mind boggling to think of the history of you finds. It seems you frequently find relics that are museum worthy. As we say in the States......U Da Man. :notworthy:

An ancient thumb print ! How cool is that !!!

nice finds congrats HH

UPDATE:

As Dad was doing the IDing of the 'Alter' reverse Roman Coin, he found that RIC listed it as rarity R3 (I think he said), anyway, it was at the time of publication a Very Rare coin with only a few specimens known. COOL:thumbsup:

Congrats on another rare one. And a good "batch" of finds.

I found one of those "tear drop" shaped things in the top right hand picture.

Georgian Furniture Pull.

UPDATE:

Viking Mount Field - Day 6:

Dad had to return to this area, because after the count we had a total of 99 Roman Bronze Coins & he couldn't leave it at that.:laughing7:

He got a broken Roman 'Hare' Brooch & 2 Roman Coins.

Wow very very nice hunt. I wish my usual hunts could produce one of those treasures!
