Very nice find!....My wife would be like Thankyou!

Thanks, kind of new to forums, usually just post my finds on Instagram and Facebook..

Interesting. All my finds are from outside cemeteries also. WAY outside!

Nice old brooch. Congrats on a good find

Sweet brooch!! Welcome to the forums!!

Just curious. How far out of the cemetery were you? Looks like that brooch could have been a pattern for an early coin.

Cool Find..
Best to not use the " C " word when describing where you find treasures.
In the woods is close enough.

Nice find, I try to keep away from cemeteries though. Public perception is very important to our hobby.

Welcome to tnet that is a great piece I keep a lot of my finds like that in display cases silver coins gold and relics makes it more fun Thanks for sharing your pics

I've found a pearl earring and mercury dimes and wheat cents outside our family cemetary. My father showed me a long time ago where everyone used to park a long time ago on the road and it seems as though what we found was dropped from pockets. Dad had found a coin person with several mercs and wheat cents on that old road.

Was just on the street right next to the cemetery , I think it was washed out of the cemetery over the years

Mine was found on the road outside the fence where the cars or wagons parked. Public perception can be misconstrued so the only time I've hunted anywhere near the big C word is outside my families cemetary and everyone around here knows who I am and only person whose ever drove by and talked to me is my grandma who ends up also being the cemetary president. Would be neat to find something from a family member that they dropped on the road.

Hopefully, I find something similar, as I too will be proximal to an old cemetery....say a block or so away. Dates back to 1600s....Spanish. Would be cool if you can find someone who can attach a round about date to that. Great find!
