Vintage made in Hong Kong trinket box, grass-like decoration-what's it called?
I thought I'd see if anyone's ever seen one of these. I'm sure they're common, but I do searches under "reed box", "grass box", etc. and come up with nothing like it. The bottom has a aged sort of patina, and is a kind of marbleized paper. I think the top is made of some sort of grass, but I can't be certain. Please let me know if you've seen one of these and what it's called, as well as the date. I'm guessing mid century, but possibly later. Thank you in advance!
