Vintage Military Button ?

Does anyone know what type of buttons these are? They are about the size of a quarter? They say Waterbury Button Company on the back. Thanks.

They are in great condition, were they dug and then cleaned?

Not a match but close. If you go the the links I posted you'll see that PBK ID'ed my as a USMC hat or collar disk. Plus someone the collects this stuff PM'ed me and told me it was very old.
