My nephew stole and sold my luggage rack ( he was supposed to have it cromed for me ) so I have to get another one , and a set of saddle bags ( after market ) . This is a 74 cu in 1200cc Flathead motor ( the same motor that broke the land world speed record , ie , The Last Indain with a 3 speed " sucide shift " and a constant loss oil system . I don,t ride it everyday anymore because I am getting on in years and even though its a " softtail " its still hard on an old man like me ( my rearend ! if you know what I mean ! ) . Now that the weather is cooling down here in Vegas ( it only got up to 98 today ! ) . I will start going down to " Stoneys " on Sunday morinings ( a C&W bar ) were a vintage car club meets for breakfast and then takes a run . Its good friends and fun and a lot of the time they let the " old man on the Indain take the lead " A fellow at work said he would trade me his truck and his bike ( a crotch rocket ) for the " Chief " , he is new to Vegas from Chicgaio . I said " No dice newbie , I only ride real bikes !
