Vintage Religious Silver!!!!

Stopped by an old swimming hole today for a quick hunt. This Lake was once a very popular place being that it was part of an old Resort Hotel, that was once part of the borscht belt in the Catskill Mountains of upstate New York. Not even 5 minutes into swinging my storm coil and I got a high Silver hit. Dug down about 3 inches and pulled out this Vintage Sterling Silver Virgin Mary Pendant. Awesome find, I love how silver sounds on the A/T Pro!!!

Very nice. They made them in silver plate also. Glad yours says sterling on it. You might not know it but never scrap them. They do sell for a premium on Fee-Bay. That is one find I used to sell with great results. Should be more silver and hopefully gold where that came from

yes in 1830 in paris , france a catholic nun saw a vision of the virgin mary --who told her how to pray -- the "mircle medal" was thus made
