Hey everyone! Stopped in an antique store while on vacation. Was looking through some civil war bullets found on a Virginia CW battlefield when I can across some that I did not recognize. There where several of them but I picked out three that where in the best condition. These two bullets have the flat tip of a Maynard Carbine. However, the rest of the bullet is like a 3 Ring Minie Ball. These bullets are 0.5840 inches wide and 0.7745 inches long. They weighs 324.08 grains. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

I'm fairly new at bullet ID myself. Some guide that I've used would consider these bullets to have 2 grooves "indented rings" or 3 rings "raised rings" if I understand correctly. I might be misinterpreting this and incorrectly stating the rings vs. grooves. What do others think?

I've never seen these in a CW book. I think modern.

I'm thinking that is a very real possibility. The third bullet that I posted under "Virginia Civil War Battlefield Mystery Bullet 1" turned out to be modern. I'm still looking to confirm these are modern as well, but haven't found them yet.
