This was found at the exact same site that I have found my points and blades. It's a fishing village site that has seen heavy use for thousands of years. I can not get a photo that does this thing justice though. It's heavy and has the perfectly balanced weight of a fine cutting tool. I have a sense that it was used for heavy wood jobs such as log cutting or canoe scraping. It's got three pretty even sides and all three are serrated along the edges. My question is... beyond axes and other common tools, has anyone seen anything that has this size and shape? I will have it evaluated by an expert when I can but I am wondering if Molly or anyone familiar with this area recognizes it. Thanks for looking.
