Hey guys haven't been on here in awhile. I recently joined the NAVY an am now stationed in VA BEACH. I'll be stationed here for the next 4 years but getting deployed in a month. Anyone in the Virginia area down to go on a few hunts? I have the Garrett at pro and have been metal detecting for about 3 years now.

Do you detect the beach and land?

I'm mostly land because I came here from central Texas. I am definitely going to be getting a Excalibur for the beach this summer. Right now I'm using the at pro, I found a sterling silver necklace yesterday at a park.

The pro works at the beach, but you have to turn the sensitivity way down near the wet sand. I am going to try to head that way this week or next. I will pm you when I firm it up.

Not sure if you guys ever hooked up, but I live in Suffolk and am willing to meet up sometime and md. I have a Garrett Ace 350 so I do land detecting right now. Hopefully by this summer I can have enough pennies saved up to get a detector that is good for water as well. Let me know if you guys head out on a weekend excursion...Brad

Hey so I just returned from a deployment. I just purchased my new ctx 3030. If any of yal would like to meet up one weekend I'm ready.
