Vortex Mat

Hello,
Wondering if I should run this vortex mat solo or with the gray miners mat over it. The green mat was what originally came on the bottom. Flour gold in my area and wasn't catching squat in past years with the green mat. Sorry about the crappy pictures

Messed this post all up second reply has correct picture. Of the vortex in the box solo. My biggest concern is vortex mat having air bubbles pushing fine gold out

Throw some of the small mesh miners moss over the top half of it and see how it works. The Vortex mat works great in a Gold Cube, but I don't run it in a sluice because it takes a more defined amount of water and pitch. Take a brush and clean that Vmat also until the grooves are all cleaned up. Then... your expanded needs to run the other way with the tall side upstream.

Thanks for the reply Reed. This mat was popular 6-7 years ago as an alternative. I'm now thinking of pulling it for dream mat.

Think I'll give the vortex mat with miners moss on too. If I get skunked durst 2 times out I'll buy a dream mat
