Hit the sod fields and did allright. We have had some good rains lately and went home with some good ones. Nothing crazy. Lots of tools and brokes. That hammer stone looks like it took a few implement strikes.
 

Good seeing you Ben. Are you still knapping any? I found that source of black chert and cut the sinew out of a couple of deer and dried it. I am going to cut some more off the deer I get this weekend. Nice hunt with a friend you had!

Hey TN ! It's been a while. Still knapping just been a while. Hope it's a great new year for ya.
 

It is because the ground is usually hard but the sod cutter is horrible on the artifacts.

Ive got permission to walk one this year just as soon as I see the guy again. Does the sod stay solid or does it break up some? Its been a mild winter here with lots of rain so Im not sure if I will be able to see a thing.
