Hi everyone,
I 'm not new to metal detecting but recently had some changes. I used an old White's coinmaster for 25 years. It was recently stolen..So I'm on the lookout for a new detector. Two possibly.. Probably going to get a Garret 250 and a beach/water model of somekind. I spend a few weekends at the beach over the warmer months and would really like to try some river detecting. Hopefully around the civil war sites...
I have been by myself and would really like to find some likeminded friends or a group or club. IF there are any around New Orleans( or anywhere close enough to drive in the state or maybe even lower Mississippi. Please let me know. If not, I was hoping to start a group or club and organize some group activities and hunts.
