Want to buy a Fors CoRe...Looking for some help setting it up

Would like to know if there are any Fors CoRe owners in the Richmond area that would be willing to show me how to set the machine up? I have detected for many years you wouldn't be stuck with a complete rookie. Retired so most anytime is good for me. Thanks. Won't be buying the machine until I can get a little help.
