...and clad.

I know the members who find three ringers by the truckload are laughing at me...

...but I still get excited when I find just one of 'em.

I'm not done yet. Going out again tonight, after it gets dark.

Cheers

Re: War and peace... Updated

Well I did go back out last night and froze my fingers off. The only thing I found of interest was this copper bracelet.

I scanned it last night after rinsing it, then scanned it after a tumble with some clad.

Since it was copper (I didn't know). It turned all the clad that golden color.

I'm thinking of replacing the empty collets with round turquoise stones. Maybe?

Nice finds and congrats on the CW bullet! Would be nice to fill that bracelet with some kind of stones you found from a ring or something. Doesn't copper turn your skin green, LOL? HH, Mike

Nice digs ~ that kind of stuff is well worth getting a bit cold for.

Congrats!

Hi Ridley, Nice finds. I love the mini's also. I cut work early today to go out also. What is the advantage of night?

Man, you've been doing pretty darn well out there. ;D Some neat finds.

Roy,
I've been detecting at night more and more recently. Here's why...

1. Like Mike said. Stealth or (privacy). In reality there are a few Fields and locations that (always) have lots of people around. As soon as the sun goes down (they all go away).

2. I can locate targets as fast or faster using a Vibra-probe pinpionter. You don't need to see the target at all.

3. It's very peacefull.

4. I can cut my daytime hunt short knowing full well I'll be out again later.

5. The locations seem to take on a different character. Without the visual distractions of daylight, I find myself covering all kinds of areas that I wouldn't because of their "looks".

Those are just a few reasons. Remember. I only hunt at night in safe areas.

Hope that helps. ;)
