I went back to an old spot I dug a nice Colonial buckle earlier this week and managed a few more keepers. an Eagle button, a cool Slaymaker padlock and my First 1812 artillery button!! I thought it was another generic flat button until I wiped the front and saw a cannons wheel! not a common find in the Cincinnati ohio area.

I don't expect the artillery button too common a find anywhere. Nice find.
I was real happy to get my first last year, not the same as yours as british etc. but I longed for a canon on a button for awhile.
