Friday and Saturday hunts. The button with the fabric is a Light Artillery war of 1812 button, 1909 wheat penny my first one, skeleton key, copper coin and other relics..

That button is something else! Wow! The fact that there is still a bit of fabric attached to it is amazing. Congrats on some very fruitful hunts.

PS- Love the skeleton key. I don't find them very often, but when I do it's always very exciting!

The copper salts (note green color on shank) in the button are deadly poison to the bacteria that would have eaten the thread. That's why it survived. Gary
