Relic Hunting
Me and a friend went relic hunting yesterday. We got permission on an area that looked promising to me . We hoped to find some civil war relics, but what we found was not civil war ,instead it was some really cool history for the area we were in .This is why I love relic hunting you just never know what you’ll come across . We found 2 war of 1812 buttons . He dug the American I dug the British . We dug a nice handful of plain buttons too . It was fun but read the article I have circled in red . It explains why my 1812 British Royal Naval officers button was found where it was 😄 We were in this area digging relics . I cant imagine what went on back in 1812 where we were digging . It wasnt good Im sure . Video coming soon 😄

Fantastic finds. Congrats

That’s a really nice looking naval button! Good job.

Super cool to track down why it was there

Congrats on the nice pieces of rare history. That anchor button is awesome. The Low Country is the place to be.

Best of luck.
