The wife and I took a trip to the Bayfield area in northern Wisconsin on Lake Superior. While in the area we stayed in Washburn just up the hill from their marina.

Nice sunset. That a pretty slick looking boat the U.S. Coast Guard has there. Looks like it could get up and move.

Bayfield area

Here's a few more pics. We took the glass bottom boat ride out around the Apostle Islands to look at ship wrecks on day and in the evening went to the Big Top Chautaqua show and listened to a killer blue musician called Tab Benoit. They have shows in a big tent all summer long with some well known acts at times. Check it out. Big Top Chautauqua |
