Found this today collecting around a Civil War era house site in Limestone County, AL. It definitely says “Washington”, not sure what else. Diameter is .75 inches. Unsure of material, but probably brass. Appears to be one piece, but the back is badly corroded. Please share thoughts.

That is an old wobble-shank Overall button.. it says Washington across the top and Dee Cee across the bottom. In the center would be a rather cartoonish head of George Washington. Circa 1908-1910
