Finds have tapered off lately as my hot spots are fading (actually, they're being buried). Decided to visit a site that has produced some early wheats in hopes of getting lucky and hitting a silver. Well I didn't get silver.
A bit crusty, but the elusive 1864 Patriotic Token.
Not 10 yards away from the patriotic token, this half-penny bank token pops out. A bit crusty again, but very welcome during a slow streak.
And in the not detected category, I spotted this beautiful aquamarine soda (I think) bottle. Machine made, but the imperfections lead me to believe it is "early" machine made. Hope I can clean it up a bit.
