For those of you new to detecting or detecting in a new area., do some research. There are areas here you just don't want to hunt unless you carry a gun. We have feral pigs & they are aggressive. & skunk mating season is happening in my neck of the woods, Watch for Pepe Le Pew! Heck a friend & I were looking for points when an armadillo started chasing us.! We got a good laugh at the one. They are so ugly they are cute. We kept our distance & had to scare him away a few times. but feral pigs not so easy to deal with. Make sure you are well informed before you go out.Hmm, maybe I should practice what I preach!
