We were going in the winter at the Super Low tides of the night. It was even cold for here in Okinawa. 50's
The water felt much colder of course.
Anyway, at the resorts we could get out in the swimming areas at one or two feet at these tides.
One beach went completely dry for about 2 hours, at that beach we would go around with a shovel and dig every target and place the mud/sand into the sifter screen and after about 4-7 shovels we would take it over to the water and shake it out. Some trash and some coins.
Anyway, we did real good for about 2-3 years until my sons kind of found other things in thier life to do and my old bones was not much into anymore. Needed a break! Was going to start again with my new CZ-20, but looks like it will have wait till I get back from San Diego.
The beaches here are loaded and you can pick up from 50 to over $100 in one night plus a ring here and there.
The Japanese just are not into this kind of thing. THey think we are poor and need the money :DI have ran into some other Americans ;D Anyway, enjoy...We were using 2 old Fisher Impulses!

Dave, that's a whole lotta rings! Congrats. How long you gonna be in San Diego?

May have to be there a year or two. I hope I can have as much fun there as here. We will see! 8)

Those are some great finds Dave. Be Safe. I hope you hit the gold mine. Let us know how you are doing.

Hello Dave, good to hear from you again. Enjoy the hard work of hearing all those signals.

HH,
Sandman
