ive been in rougher but just seems i dont get calm days like i used to - last few yrs trips to the shore
which is usually 2 hrs or more - ive experienced high winds just about every trip
locals can wait another day - i gotta deal with what i get

cant trust new england weather men - they say 10-15 mph which i can deal with

Anyone that can get out in that deserves the "Rough Water Pirate Award"...I've been out in some nasty waters ...... come home and put the video on only to have the water look like a calm water day. Videos are very deceiving when it comes to "perspective" .......what it really was like.

Yeah, I don't do that anymore. Too hard on the body and equipment. I just wait till a calmer day.

Yeah that's what I consider rough. When you are using the scoop in the hole to hang on.
The times I've hunted in those conditions, I never found much... it would sink faster than I could get it out of the hole between waves.
