I am from England and heard about this treasure back in the Eighties. I've always wanted to go and look for it - though it sounds like it would be impossible to get it home! I have a newspaper cutting somewhere about it. Now we have the internet I can discover other people have heard of it and even look at the area on Google Earth - maybe one day I will even get there.
Did you go looking for it? Are you still up for the search?
