anybody tried using this product to waterproof electronics?

https://www.bolt.com.au/crc-3013-soft-seal-spray-300g-p-7612.html

I think im going to find a cheap radio or something at a junk store and open up the circuit board and spray it down. see if it works in the saltwater.

actually Ill coat it with CRC 3013 Soft Seal, then seal the box and battery compartment up with sika flex 221.

whats the best way to waterproof the headphone jack connection? I guess i could put a little capacitor and a led light on it so maybe it would flash if there is volume going through the headphone jack?

Doesn't matter what you put on it salt water will find away to eat it up. Start with sumthing you don't mind throwing away. Hate to lose anything good to a bad idea. Best of luck let us know how it turns out!!
