Wave Diamonds ( Bad & Good News )

Back at my favorite Cape Cod beach this morning when 16 diamonds get thrown onto the sand in front of me by an incoming wave. God i love the hobby. Thankyou metaldetector.com.

2nd the wow! I guess I should be out there swinging! If you see a guy with a 1280X collecting bottle caps and pulltabs that's me! I was off yesterday and out in the boat I brought the detector with the intention of hunting on washburn Island where the boaters pull up. The tide was super high so I chased around the Bonito instead. Caught my first one on an ultra light rod with 6 lbs test, dang thing spooled me twice!

You have to be tenacious if you really want to get some good finds. The other thing is i dug enough pull tabs and caps in the past month to fill a 5 gallon bucket. I go TH'in every chance i get, i have a lot of time on my hands and i also check the tide charts as well. Dead low tide has been my best finds. Stay at it, don't wait til the morning to do the beach, you have to do it in the afternoon/evening just as the "depositors" are leaving for the day. If you wait until the morning all the goodies will be in my jewelry box.

Sorry to say the jeweler say not diamonds . But i did find a nice silver bracelet at new beach i went to, and a nice piece of body jewelery.
I will try to post some pic's later.
