I want some old bottles. My definition of old is 1960's and before. I want a milk bottle and a Coke bottle. Anything older would be even better!!!

I found a shipment of bottles from a Chicago bottle mfr to an Elgin factory, got 13 gross in cases also, three types, Chicago Square, Paris Square and keystone panel. Got more bottles than I can fill. Sell some now and then for cheeseburger money. The cased ones at the bottom, all from 1904.

Nope, didn't get any at the FP's.
Largest haul to date was from an Elgin City dump that was buried by a flood in 1894. It was unearthed during construction of the launch ramp for the casino boat. About 500 bottles came from that pit. Many were still corked and had contents. Hmmm.. Others came from privy's on private property or during home demo's. Others still come from river and creek hunting.

You have been around for quite a while!!! Good job on all them bottles :thumbsup: I too am looking to dig an oldie in this lifetime!
