Jim... I meant to ask you... what were the 2 items you brought ?

BTW I also had a pair of tickets to show ... drove down to Sarasota and ended up changing our minds (was me and 2 girls) and spent day doing other stuff.

Visited a long over due old soul friend instead.

Sheehs girls even had me stop at garage sales heh

Oh and... the outcome of your items.

Enrico Tarenghi painting in gorgeous gold leaf frame $2500-$3500 if I recall and ornate 830 Silver candlesticks $500-$800.

I went to one in Salt Lake City maybe 4 years ago now. It pretty unique, but I was halted from taking pictures inside the appraisal area. Yeah! what did you take and what did they say?

Sweet. :)

Congrats! That’s really cool.

Well if you ever go to another take that vintage army Rolex. I'd be curious to see what that would appraise for. If there's another one close by I may shoot for tickets, but I'm not all that eager to do it again. The two ladies I was in line with told me that the one I showed up for was the 5th antiques roadshow they've attended. They sign up for every opportunity. It was in SLC, UT and they came all the way from New Jersey. I guess you could say they were roadshow groupies.

Hey that’s cool. Congrats and thanks for sharing.

I had tickets in Palm Springs a few years ago. Spent a lot of time standing in lines. They told me my World Record Certificates were worth about $300 each... Give or take. No way to really know, because things like that don't come up for sale very often. Not bad. I got 10 certificates for $20 from the guy who won the gold medals at the Olympics and set the records.

Is this you JD?. How cool was it to visit that Ringling mansion? The one I attended in Salt Lake City was in a big dull looking convention center.

No this one is not me. Looks like me though. Yes it was a very cool site. It certainly add it to the value of the long road trip.
